Choirs
Choirs have a long tradition in the Catholic Church. This is evidenced by a plaque from the Kriens Church Choir, dating back to the time when only the St. Gallus Parish Church existed.
Today, there are two active choirs in the Catholic Church in Kriens: the Einklangchor and the Sentimentochor.
In 2020, the 122-year-old Gallus Choir and the 66-year-old Bruder Klaus Choir merged to form the new Einklangchor Kriens. The Einklangchor’s repertoire includes classical church music as well as newer, modern pieces.
The Sentimento Choir Kriens was founded in 2003 with a focus on modern songs from pop, gospel, musicals, and spiritual music.
Singing and making music are great for your health. They bring joy, release happiness hormones, and open doors to social connections.
